European Day of Languages
Celebrating European Day of Languages!
Today, our pupils embraced the spirit of European Day of Languages with enthusiasm and creativity!
Year 5/6 explored the French language using dictionaries to discover new words and phrases. Each pupil created a colourful notecard featuring their chosen vocabulary, beautifully decorated with the French flag — a fantastic way to celebrate language learning!
Meanwhile, Year 3/4 enjoyed learning about different European flags and took part in a fun colouring activity to mark the occasion.
Year 3 explored how to say hello in different languages. The class also learnt about how birthdays are celebrated in other countries which linked in with their class topic. Year 3 learnt a lovely poem for European Day of Languages.
Well done to everyone for your brilliant efforts and enthusiasm!
