P4/5 had a fantastic time getting into the Easter spirit as they made their very own Easter nest buns with Mr McElhinney.
This fun activity linked beautifully with the curriculum, giving the pupils the opportunity to develop their numeracy skills through measuring and following quantities, while also enhancing their literacy skills by reading and understanding instructions. The children explored The World Around Us through practical, hands on learning and developed important life skills such as teamwork, independence and following a process from start.
The classroom was full of excitement (and a little bit of chocolatey mess!) as everyone got stuck in.
